Total Cure For Diabetes Rejected By Doctors
This is another “I Told ‘Em!” Something I’ve been saying for decades and
now science is beginning to prove I was right all along!
For nearly 40 years I’ve been asking why
diabetics are given “lines” of carbohydrate and told to eat it and then take
their insulin to reduce it! If diabetes is a disease which cannot safely
handle carbs, why is God’s name tell patients to eat the stuff? It has never
made sense. I’ve cured thousands of diabetics by simply saying “Do not eat
carbohydrates.” A great many of them came off insulin altogether.
Now a new study has shown that a very
low-calorie diet of 600 calories a day totally reverses type 2 diabetes [71st
Scientific Sessions of the American Diabetes Association, San Diego, June 24-28,
2011.Diabetologia. published online June 24, 2011.]
Eleven people who had been diagnosed with type
2 diabetes within the past four years slashed their calories for eight weeks,
sticking to liquid diet drinks and non-starchy vegetables.
After one week on the diet, participants'
fasting blood sugar levels were no longer elevated.
MRI scans showed that the fat levels in the
pancreas fell from around 8% -- considered high -- to a normal 6%.
After eight weeks on the diet, their bodies
were once again making sufficient insulin, essentially reversing their diabetes.
Three months after going off the diet, seven
were free of diabetes. That’s about a 70% cure rate. Brilliant!
So what is the doctor’s response who carried
out this study? Don’t do it! Study head Roy Taylor, MD, director of the
Newcastle Magnetic Resonance Centre at Newcastle University in England said they
were not recommending calorie restriction as a cure for diabetes.
"We have to figure out a more practical way for
people to get these results -- that is, to get fat out of pancreas and keep it
out," Taylor said.
Diabetes is one of the top three killers in the
Western world. It’s tragic because it is such an easy disease to treat: just eat
differently!
But over and over patients are told to eat
their “lines” and take insulin and/or drugs.
It’s Not Just About Calories
The problem with eating “lines”, or any
carbohydrate food, is that it is typically grains, corn derivatives or soy.
These are not natural foods for Man, despite all the hype. We can’t metabolize
them properly. Diabetes is the almost inevitable result.
We need
meat, lots of lovely red, delicious meat. It’s Man’s natural food (sorry
vegetarians). Calories which come from animal sources do not have the negatives
of grains and soy.
Forget
all the nonsensical propaganda about red meat. I’ve never seen ANY study that
shows red meat is bad for us. Only studies which investigated red meat and
synthetic manufactured meats combined! That’s silly because the disgusting
filth that is offal meat (in sausages, burgers, spam etc) is not healthy. But it
takes down red meat in the results, which is very health.
Once
this story got born and became “science”, it’s now hard to dislodge. But if you
look at our historical diet, Man ate 60% of his calories as red meat. In those
days, from plentiful skeletal evidence, we know that Cro-Magnon Man was superbly
healthy and tall. There was no evidence of skeletal disease, such as arthritis.
Deformities only appeared when we over hunted, populations expanded and we start
to eat more vegetables!
It got
rapidly worse when we became farmers, instead of hunters, and began to consume
grains.
In
modern times and due to marketing propaganda, we have been told to eat more
grains. Whole grains are supposed to be “good for us”. Oh yeah? Well, why is it
that the population has moved into an obscene degree of obesity? Because grains
rare wrong for us!
Diabetes
has rapidly risen to be a top-3 killer and may well move higher. Carbohydrates
are ruinous. Period.
Dire
Need Of Nutrients
There
are two essential substances that protect us from high insulin problems. The
most famous is chromium. We need about 400 mcg a day. It is a co-factor of
insulin and helps keep diabetes at bay.
Excess
insulin levels lead, among other things, to low energy levels, more body fat,
cravings for sweet foods, and raised cholesterol.1
What is
the richest natural source of chromium? Red meat, especially beef. So the
ranting against red meats is not only off-target but is actually killing
citizens, by denying them adequate healthy chromium.
Incidentally,
red wine too is a surprising good source of chromium, which is probably one
reason for the French paradox and why French women are famously skinny.
Another
vital and little-known nutrient is vitamin K2 (K1 is no good). It too helps
control insulin metabolism and balance our blood sugar.2
You can get vitamin K2 from leafy green
vegetables. But it occurs most in two foods you are told are “bad for us”: beef
and eggs. We need 50- 100 mcg a day, so take a supplement with those levels.
K2, incidentally, protects against
calcification of the arteries. It also strengthens bones and improves memory
function. A 2008 study published by the European Prospective Investigation into
Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC) has revealed that increased intake of vitamin K2 may
reduce the risk of prostate cancer by 35 percent.3
This is all good news for us, as we grow older!
